RockShox Revelation RL good enough?

I literally decided last week to buy a bike again after several years off. After a bit of reading and test riding I chose the Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp 6Fattie, $3,000.

My question is regarding forks. IT has the Revelation RL fork and I noticed for $3,200 I could switch to the Enduro fattie frame that comes with the Yari Fork. I would just need to buy Fattie tires but would have slimmer as well for long rides...

I am really new into this hobby and don't know enough about geometry between the two frames. They look identical with the Enduro having slightly less rear travel, is this true? I test rode the Stumpjumper FSR comp 29er and the geometry felt literally like the custom made it for me which was part of my decision.

I put the order in this afternoon at LBS so Specialized has not shipped yet.

I am also wondering if one can ask for a better fork and pay more? Like ask for the Yari on my Stumpjumper?

Other option is the Same bike but Carbon and it upgrades the fork to the Yari but 4k is not where I want to go. 3k has been my stretch thus far.

Thanks ahead for any input.

Edit: Oh and I weigh like 205 currently but usually stocky 190-195, 5'11"
And I know the Yari is better but am I getting into 'Analysis paralysis'? I mean the Revelation RL will be a damn great fork yes? Will a Yari really make my experience that much better or are we talking slim margins that the hardcore enthusiasts love to chase that last 10% of performance?

The Yari is going to be a much stiffer fork. It's got 35mm stanchions and is the same chassis as a Lyrik. The Revelation is a great fork, but as you get more into the addiction of riding the Yari will give you the ability to upgrade with a better damper like an RCT3 or Avalanche thus making it a better fork than even a Pike. Only downside is there is a slight weight penalty with Yari.

I have a 2017 Comp 6fattie with the Revelation. I love my bike and the fork is good, I have no complaints. BUT, I rented a carbon 6fattie in Colorado a couple of weeks ago that had the Yari and it was a much stiffer and enjoyable riding bike.

Well gents I made a last minute change.

Enduro Enduro Elite Carbon 29/6Fattie ---Has the Lyrik RC and the Monarch Plug W/autosag. And a carbon frame plus stash box and $400 off and same price as a Stumpy carbon comp fatty.

I have no "what if's" now with this bike

Going to be me down the mountain :madmax:

I did want a Fattie out of the gate and 2.3's (smaller) later but other way around will be fine for deal I got.

Any good recommendations on fattie rims and tires? Other components to build another wheel set?
