I'm thinking about building a set of wheels for a Specialized Crave SL Single Speed Rigid 29er. Any thoughts on whether I should go with a 22mm inner width or 25mm inner width rim?

What's the narrowest tire you could reasonably run on the 25mm inner width rim without the tire profile getting goofy?

I've just got 2.0" tires on it now front and rear but I might go wider in the front since it's rigid.

Thanks!

I like round profile 2.2" or larger tires on nice wide rims, so the 25mm would be my choice for larger tires.

With your current 2" tires I'd stick with the 22mm internal width.
