I am converting a 98 Marin Pine Mountain into a gravel bike. It's totally a Frankenstein now.

I want to convert the front suspension Bomber Z2 forks to rigid. I'm having trouble finding a fork that meets the specs:
-26" wheels
-Cantilever rim brakes for XTR
-1-1/8 threadless
-carbon not necessary

The only ones I've seen are for threaded headrests. Any leads?

Looks more like v-brakes not canti...unless you are then changing to canti, just not yet. (canti would be harder to find/set up)
Any recent rigid fork, like in the last... 25 years I would have thought would be threadless, and the threaded ones would be the hard ones to find, seems weird, but possible.

First you need to find what axle to crown measurement you want. You can measure the fork you have now. Then do a google search for 26" rigid v-brake fork. There are many available, with brake bosses that will work with canti or v-brake. You just have to find one with the correct A/C measurement.

Here are two options. Dont know if the A/C will work for you.
