I managed to crash and break-off the right (rear) SRAM X7 shifter from the handlebar. The shell was ripped apart and a lever is missing, so I'm looking to replace the entire shifter. Can I replace it with any SRAM 10-speed shifter? I've found new and used X7, X9 and GX shifters available at comparable prices.

Also, one of the listings said that the "housing" was not included. What are they referring to?

New shifters often come with a cable, but not the cable housing. I think that's what they mean by housing not included.

Those 10x sram mtb shifter will work.
