Coming May 31st, according to Pivot website. Any ideas what it is?

My old Titus Switchblade was one of my favorite bikes ever.

Well well cesjr, you done good, my man. I have a feeling your wait was well worth it and you decision to buy now was timely. Give your wife a thumbs up for me as well. Enjoy that super rad new ride.
BTW, when you get the 29 wheels, try putting only one on in the rear and keeping the + in the front for kicks. You may decide to keep it that way.

That looks like total cush!

Have you tried it with a Recon in the rear?
After riding Nobby Nic 27.5x3.0 on my hardtail for most of 2016 I did not like Recon 27.5x2.8 on the Switchblade much in terms of traction on steep/loose trails.

Currently trying out 29x2.6 Nobby Nic front and rear. I think this will be nice for mellower trails.

For bombing down steep and rough trails, however, I like the plus Minions.

Plenty of clearance at the fork.

Rear clearance is a little tight at the curved piece near the seat tube. I haven't measured it but looks to be around 1cm. Fine for SoCal where I live but might be an issue in muddy areas.

I hope more 29x2.6 options come on the market.

Keep seeing X01 cranks on pictures. Pivot website specs say either RF Aeffect or Next. What about Shimano HTII cranks? Any info if they will go wide at some point?

Also, this may be OT here, but those running a Shimano drivetrain - any issues with the smaller/single toothrings of the cassette "eating" into the DTSwiss freehub body?

XX1 cranks with 30t Wolftooth flat chain ring. Works perfect on my bike. See FAQ section on the Pivot SB page..

Got my Switchblade this week. I bought the Race XT and upgraded to the RC2 damper in the fork and had new XTR laying around that I put on. XT brakes going on next week.

Oh. My. Gawd.

This bike is silly. Still dialing in the suspension and need a shorter stem, but it is buttery. Can't wait to get some good wheels and an X2 on this thing. It's like a mini DH sled that can be pedaled.

I might of met you at the Shed. I'm running XO hubs/cox ray/Nox Farlow wheels built by Speeddream. I don't know if the I9 superboost hub is out yet.

Still true although a rock strike put a small crack in the rim. Nox is replacing without complaint although I have to pay for a rebuild. The X2 is a nice shock and to me a definite improvement. Not sure what I prefer more on my 36s - the FIT or RC2. I'm waiting for warmer weather before I fine tune the fork. I'm wondering if an Avalanche tune is worth the coin.

Hi guys, just want to ask. Do you think if I just swap from 29er to 27.5+ wheels as and when I feel like it, I have to realign or adjust my chain line and all? Are there any tweaks I have to do to make the swap depending on my feel for the day on wat kinda bike I wanna ride?

No you can swap without any readjustments. just swap - that's all.
FYI I am selling a brand new Reynolds Carbon 27+ wheelset for the Switchblade.
