Coming May 31st, according to Pivot website. Any ideas what it is?

My old Titus Switchblade was one of my favorite bikes ever.

Picked my Switchblade up tonight, so excited to ride this beast as weekend long. Bike weighs 30lbs 5oz with pedals (RF Atlus) and bottlecage (specialized). Only a few minor changes from stock so far, including RF SixC 35 bars cut to 770mm, RF Atlas 50mm stem, and southpaw remote for the KS Lev

Got out for 23 miles on mine today, including two lift runs at Snowmass. It's such a blast! My huge Conti Der Baron Projekt tires weigh a ton, but have surreal traction. Closest thing to a downhill bike I've ridden in a long time, but then you get on the pedals and it just motors like a boss. Might have to venture cross-mountain and get her on the old DH track, I think she'd REALLY shine there.

I went up 10 PSI in the rear shock after each run. Now I'm at 170psi and I'm 170 lbs., unkitted (but I don't ride with a pack). I think I may add a little more even. Running a 150mm Stage w/o the headtube extender.

I waffled a little bit between L and XL, but I'm glad I went L. I'm 6'1". 31.5" saddle height. Could use a 150mm post. Dropped saddle height with my 415mm long 125mm 9point8 could stand to get a bit lower....

Getting up early to do another ride, can't get enough. We depart for the Trans-BC enduro one week from tomorrow!

HT 's have been sold as frames for a while and I haven't read anything about frames not being the expected weight. SC carbon bikes have been on the lighter side of their categories in the past so this isn't a shocker.

Personally I think weight of the SB is fine. It's reasonable given the class of bike it is. Weight weenies may not dig it, but that's not important as long as it delivers on the trail.

Got a ~10-mile easy shakedown run this morning. Stock XT/XTR 1X build with a cockpit swap (Chromag bars/stem, Deity grips).

It's monsoon season in Phx, so not only is it balls-hot by 5:30 a.m., it's now humid, too. I took a pretty big digger last week on my Banshee, augering the end of my bars into my ribcage after missing a doubled-up rock gap. Sprung ribs, a couple dislocated fingers, etc. Today was my first ride back since and I still don't feel great.

That said, the Switchblade is legit so far. Feels nice to support the hometown team again. I need to get a bunch more rides in before really having an opinion. But at 6'2 with a 34.5 inseam, the size L is a spot-on fit. No achy knees, which tells me the seat angle isn't too slack, but I did have a slightly sore lower back. Think I'm going to move from a 60mm to 50mm stem and add a little more bar rise.

Set sag and rebound then rode open/open. At this point, rear suspension is definitely outperforming the Fox 36, but I can feel that it really needs some break-in miles.
