I have just starting riding with my 11-6. I'm still using the suggested settings to see how things work out.
The DH settings is really nice. Don't really notice anything in the rear, which for me means things are running really well. The only thing that I think I'm missing in that setting is a little more support when coming out of corners when I start to pedal, I wish there was a little less diving of the rear. This would probably help for when I need to pop off or over something as well.
When I'm in the climb mode and forget to make the switch when I am going downhill, the bike is crazy fast but I would prefer a little more traction.
A few more rides on the stock settings and then I'll start to turn some knobs.

Eric, Based on what you're saying I would look at increasing the low speed compression in the DH setting two clicks firmer and the rebound 1 click faster and see what you think.

Anybody got any news on DHX2/X2 metric of 230/65 for mine?

 

I called fox and asked them to sell metric shocks please. They asked for what bike and I told them.

I'd suggest doing the same. They're already making the size for some oem kits.

2016 Patrol. 220lbs geared up. Getting the 2018 Fox DHX2 when they drop. What rate spring to achieve the proper sag with two rounds of preload?
