I just graduated from NMU in the spring and moved to TN. Did they end up opening the lift service on MQT mtn this year? Did you get to ride the intense on any of the downhill trails? Nice bike by the way.

Tire selection for the rear.... how did you end up with a Racing Ralph on such a burly bike? You don't expect the sidewalls to last without tearing, do you?
Riding DH has taught me to pick the best lines, so I don't have that problem as much and the tread allows me to break loose the rear end more and drift the corners. Plus, it's 600g+/- and allows me to accelerate faster. Finally, I only weigh 140lbs with gear, so I'm light. We'll see how it holds up.

This is the only bike that I would trade my WFO for.

When I demoed the 26, it was almost tempting to go back to 26", now they make it in man size, WIN.

Can it take a dorado?

surprised that with xtr cranks, tiny pedals, xc rims and tires, no bash ring or guard, it still comes out over 30 lbs.

but i haven't really been paying attention to what the weight of this frame and fork are. are they heavy?

Forks a little heavy too...Reba 140mm is a 1lbs lighter...but I want to run the Cane Creek AngleSet headest and change the head angle to 67.5 degrees from the current 69 degrees. You can only run the 1 1/8" full steerer tube with the headset, so Reba won't work until Rockshox makes it with a full 1 1/8" steerer, not the tapered version.

Tapered-only is what I've read pretty consistently re: the REBA 140.

Wouldn't the HA be 70 degrees with the dropouts in their current position in the pic?, I've asked this question a few times but have gotten diff answers, from what I've heard it's 69 degrees in the longer chainstay position.

nice ride for sure, I need to demo one
