I'm looking at getting a shock with a remote for my XC bike and these 2 can be sourced from local shops. I have heard the Monarch Xx is a bit stiffer than a traditional monarch but can this be tuned? And how the the remote work? Is it a complete lockout or does it just stiffen up the suspension? And once again can that be tuned?
Of the Float dps with remote, does this just behave like a normal float shock or is this stiffer too.
I would like a feeling of plushness when the shock is open but a stiff feeling (rather than complete lockout) when the remote is activated.
