Mine said the 17th as well...now they just updated it to 1/7. I am waiting for a cc large black. What are you waiting for?
Don't buy into that adjusted date too much. I ordered the large black with db as well and they have had my arrival date at the 12/17 and adjusted today to 1/7, but when I spoke with CC today the guy I dealt with said he would check and get back to me via email. He emailed about 30 mins later and let me know that my frame was part of the shipment that arrived yesterday. I would suggest lobbing a call into them in the AM and check for sure

Edit - I should add that I ordered my headset and Pike from them as well, so I'm having them install the headset and cut the steerer tube, install crown race, etc before shipping, so the rep at CC just told me they would be beginning the build shortly. Hopefully that means a ship date of early next week

Perfect. Thanks a lot. How do you like the avy pike? I am light at 140lbs, a custom tune is almost necessary.
I don't have a lot of time on it yet. There are a few trails I need to hit which will give it a better test on chunkier stuff. I will say small bump performance is notably improved without needing to run more than 20-25% sag. So I'm getting better slower speed "plushness" without the fork getting divey while braking.

My 3rd LEV has been a disappointment (first two were great). Can't get the actuator to work after long time in one position. If I tap the cable adjuster then it actuates but who wants to have to do that? Like it hangs up somewhere but my attempts to find out where haven't worked. Been back to KS for full service, no real resolution. A shame because I love the thumb remote ODI compatibility.
Ive had great luck with my LEV... no issues. Every so often i pull it apart and clean it up,

How much do you guys ride? I average say 8 hours a week on the MTB and 10hrs on the road, just trying to understand where all the issues come from.

I just picked up the new design of the LEV integra, so i hope it is as reliable as the original. If not, i think i would switch to the Thomson as those guys have always been far above good quality.

I betting that lever will work with other cable actuated posts and with a 1x Lev's South Paw lever is way more ergonomic. I just ordered a Thomson post so I'll be trying the Lev levers on it.

After two weeks of e-mailing Lev every day for a status update for the post they returned to the wrong address I got an e-mail from them yesterday "I have submitted a claim with the factory and lead time is 60 days. I will get back to you as soon as I get more information"

So looks like this round I will be with out a post for at least 4 months as it's already coming up on two month's since I sent it in, sweet customer service there!

Yeah, all their dates are pretty random. I ordered an XL, which we've heard from Ibis won't be in until mid-Jan at the earliest, and they initially gave me a date of 12/17 too, now bumped to 1/7. I think the HD3 is just considered "arrival imminent" so they put a date ~2 weeks out and then keep bumping it a couple weeks each time it doesn't arrive.

I HATE BEING PATIENT ARRRRRRRGH I WANT MY TOYS NOWNOWNOW okay back to being an adult.

I got 3 months out of my LEV before developing an inch of up and down play or sag. Off for a rebuild I guess.

edit to add: anyone have any experience with BTI for non-warranty service?

So both Salespunk and Drewbird will have HD3's AND Nomad's at the same time. Normal guy height vs. tall tree Drewbird and dry SoCal vs Great Pacific Northwest sounds like an ace situation for a pair of comparisons.

Look forward to a photo from SP with his Smurfette gumball blue Nomad next to his Porsche 917 colored HD3. I'll put on sunglasses before clicking that link.

I just called them up and was just told they are at the mercy of ibis. He didn't have any other information for me. It seems like the customer service reps don't know what goes on in the warehouse. Hopefully mine is in that shipment as well. When did you place your order?

I have the Avy mod Pike with the Charger damper (vs the open bath) and love it. Have had it for 8 months on my HD 650B with a CC DBA. You keep all the sensitivity, but add in the mid stroke support, so you stop going through all your travel. I'm 200lbs so can't comment on "being light", but Craig's valving is spot on.

That's a great looking bike. I really thought about going with the black frame and blue accents, but I couldn't track down last years CK turquoise hubs so I just went with the whole turquoise frame and red accents.

I placed my order 12/2. Large black Ccdb
First date was 12/15
Then 12/17
Now 1/7.
Customer service person said getting next batch 1/7 then 1/14 then 1/15.
Good thing I have a nice bike to currently ride.
Hope this helps.
