Funny I just called Fox yesterday on this and they said no on the QR for the RC2. This post made me study the Competitive Cyclist FOX Racing Shox 36 Float 27.5 160 HSC/LSC FIT Boost Fork - 2017 description and details on website and it includes a QR.

The HSC/LSC FIT is the same as RC2 correct? Comp Cyclist sells this model and the FIT4 which both have a QR which is sweet!

By the way I am looking at the Fox because my 2016 Pike had a replacement CSU (Crown Stanchion Unit) to fix the one that was creaking and now the replacement one is creaking. Only took about 5 hours of single track to get the rebuilt Pike with new CSU to creak. I am about 215 lbs and am thinking body weight may contribute to this. Looked at the Lyrik and that is about .5 lbs heavier.

Just curious.. but why do some of the frames have two cable routing ports on the right side and some have one? My buddy and I just got them at the same time in different colors. His has two and mine has one. Not that it makes a difference, just wasn't sure what was up there

This port (if I'm correctly understanding the one you're referring to) plus one on the left side near the upper part of the seattube was for dropper posts with external routing.

I believe it was a running change Ibis has made -- eliminating it, so it's now internally-wired posts only.

Both those ports are gone now.

Personally I would not consider the Tracer at this point. It should be replaced very soon and will be significantly upgraded. Instead the Recluse should be on that list. After that it is just a consideration of what you like to ride. Bronson is a little more downhill focused and the HD3 is a little more fun on flatter/smoother trails. The HD3 gets nervous as the speeds go up and the trails get rougher/steeper. The Bronson is a little slower side to side. The Recluse looks the most interesting to me of those three though. Longer reach of the Bronson with a super short rear end equals a super fun machine.
Firstly the Recluse doesn't have the best write ups and also has less travel options to the mojo. I personally don't ride an ibis but I've been tempted a few times. The thing that has put me off is weight, and apparently the front end doesn't come up too easy for manuals etc. My thought would be the Fox X2 would sort out the twitches issues the HD3 supposedly has at speed. With the right build the HD3 should be a better all round bike than the Recluse owing to the more flexible suspension options, PLUS DW is meant to have a more efficient pedalling platform than the VPP platform

I have owned the Bronson and HD3 and there is no difference in pedalling when compared against the clock. The perceived efficiency of DW just comes from how it feels. The HD3 is nervous at speed and the X2 will not solve the problem. A - 1 angleset will though.

A pic from yesterday's ride in Squamish :D

A few changes from the original Large X01 build. I added the X2 shock and have a Magic Mary on the front, with the Bontrager SE5 on the back (from the original HDs front/rear). The tires are relatively new, so I'll reserve judgement.
The X2 tracks way better on the DH and I've only used the climb switch once on a service road so far. I've had a -1 Works on it since day one and wouldn't change a thing there.

Will be swapping out stem/bars shortly for a bit higher rise and 780 width, I can't stand having the stem all the way to the top as it is now.

Overall just love the bike. Weight is 29.2lbs.
