Internally routed both the brake line and reverb.

Drilling out the single port cover for the brake line was OK but the port cover with both lines got too thin and fragile after drilling.

So I built one out of carbon fibre instead... View attachment 964658
Very cool! do you have any pics/info of the process?

No, sorry, wish I'd taken some photos on the way through!

I had the benefit of already having plenty of spare CF off-cuts and resin so essentially it cost me zip. If I had to buy the minimum run of materials to do this I wouldn't have done it, there would be heaps left over. I really like the end result, it was a good solution for a problem...but luckily I don't have to repeat the process for other ports.

So is that the big one on the drive side, or did you make a big double wide for the non drive side? Can you take a picture from further away to show more?

OK, SO you are running your rear brake on the left...
Yep:)

When I looked at the external brake line routing options, it looked a pain to get the rear brake lever on the left, which is what I'm used to. Internal looked like the better option.

Looks the opposite in terms of ease with rear brake lever on the right. Easier to run external I would have thought. Trying to run internal, it would be tricky figuring out how to mod that top port on the non drive side and still get nice shifting from the gear cable, unless you ran full length gear housing through the frame.

Great break in ride. I have to agree with all the reviews this thing is a whole different beast than the last HD. She really loves to pop off every little trail obstacle and traction is insane. I climbed everything today even though I'm total out of cycling shape and was too lazy to swap out my rear wheel with my winter knobbies...kept my Ralph's on. Still trying to work the fit cockpit wise. I went down 20mm on the stem with the HD3 vs the HD and still not sure if that was the right move...thinking I need a 70mm vs 60mm.

Here's mine:) Waiting on some Goodridge brake lines, some anodizing work, and small parts. Should be ready to ride by next week!
Had to pose my 1st gen, 2nd gen, and my Cotic HT
