I'd like to change my broken front caliper (see image below) of a SRAM Guide R with a newer model like SRAM Code or G2 (keeping the lever, disk, cable...).
Do you think this will work? If so, I also expect to solve minor issue like sticky pistons (last models seem to have fixed that issue) and, why not, have more brake power.
Looking at the two exploded views they seem very similar (red arrow is the broken part), but I don't know whether there will be an issue because of, for example, different fluid volumes:
