We got the chance to ride Michelin's new E-Wild tires released in March 2024 and we were impressed. These tires seem ideally suited for emtbs and enduro bikes as they are big, protected, and have incredible grip. Weight is respectable at 1200+ grams and they roll well. Check our impressions in the video below:
Sizes available:
Michelin E-Wild Front Racing Line sizes: 29x2.40 and 29x2.60.
Michelin E-Wild Rear Racing Line sizes: 29x2.60 and 27.5x2.60.
Do we like them better than the famed Maxxis Assegais for ebikes? So far yes. These tires are truly inspiring in terms of grip and support. The only downside as shown in the video is we seemed to experience premature wear on the rear tire. For the highest levels of racing, this is not of great consequence but for enthusiast use, we'd like the tire to last longer than the 5-6 rides we put it through on our loamy forest.
