Just general uncomfort on longer rides like say 60km rides. I haven't experienced it because I've done super short rides. I just would like to know of anyone else has experience it. If not, then that's a good thing.

It's the normal stock bars. I'm thinking some carbon raised bars might lighten the bike a bit and add a more natural reach over the bike. Right now it feels like all my weight is being put on the bike because of the slightly cramped cabin. It's not an issue really, but just wondering if anyone else can chime in. I think if nobody has the issue then I'm good. I'll get used to it.

i dont understand how the cabin is cramped yet the reach is too long. im still building mine from the frame up but i went with a 30mm riser bar and 40mm stem

It's currently got RF Next carbon cranks, SC Reserve carbon wheels, and guide rsc g2 brakes. Swapped out OEM Schwalbe tires immediately for DHR2 2.4 front and Aggressor 2.3 rear, both in exo. Bike is right about 31 pounds. Nothing is particularly light but bike rides pretty sweet.

so i got almost all the parts to build my sensor. ended up with a topaz shock and sapphire 34 fork. im stuck on going with 130 or 140 up front. this is a trail bike, general trail stuff. we dont have a ton of drops/jumps but we do have alot of rocks/roots. anyone prefer either travel for any particular reason? not sure if i should drop the travel on the fork or just run it at 140 like it comes. 44mm offset i believe if that makes a difference

So has anyone swapped the rear shock on a 2019 Sensor for a 185x55?

Curious if it fits with enough movement in the swing arm, and if it gives ~150mm rear travel?
no clue how to calculate travel based on stroke but let all the air out of your shock and move the swing arm to the ends of the travel and see how much clearance you have. i think if you want 150 travel youre probably better off getting a force frame

Cool. Thanks. I'm just trying to be cheap. I think if I sold it I'd probably look at other bikes as well, maybe that's the best thing to do

Yeah. Not sure. The frame does seem quite beefy though, and I thought it was the same front triangle as the Force which has a similar fork
im pretty sure i read somewhere its a different triangle but youre right, everything ive read said the frame is super stiff and strong. i mean its worth a shot as long as youre ok with the possibility of messing up the frame

Hi all,new to the forum.
Yes i have fitted a 185x55 fox dpx2 to my 2019 gt sensor sport,i don't have any clearance issues.I bought on ebay as a used item,"lightly used"by description. It seems to be working, time will tell.
I then came across a fox 36 performance 150mm,a take off from a yeti sb130 ,the guy that had it was going for 160mm kashima coated factory fork.I bought it with the intention of changing the airshaft,or fitting a travel spacer. But i did neither and just fitted it.I wasn't too worried about the frame strenght or head angle. The bb was my only concern,i think i'm at 350mm now, they stated on geo charts that it was 349 as standard in the low, when in fact ,it was only about 343,with a minion dhf 2.5 front ,and a minion dhr2.3 rear.
I don't have an issue with the bb height,im a fairly heavy at over 100kg ,so i'm never really able to set it at the low 20 percent sag that they recommend .
I bought the sport,as it was a bargain i thought at 1470 euro in the crc sale.I had a 150mm dropper post ,and i had a 1x11 xt groupset on a hardtail. So i swapped a few bits around.
I fitted a nukeproof horizon 38 mm riser straight away, fitted maxxis tyres and set it up tubeless.
I'm happy with it ,its a burly trail bike, probably even able for a bit of enduro.I haven't had the chance to ride it much since i fitted the shock and fork, but it feels fine for the few spins i did on it.
