No bikes downhill? What does that mean?

Wgat part of sputhern oregon? I have done some riding around grants pass.
Mountain of the rogue?
This is around Ashland. It's a climbing only trail or you can hike down. It was strange, I passed a downhill only trail and came up to this point where you can bail out downhill on a fire road or keep climbing to complete another loop on single-track. Really fun but different kinda trail set up

Around The Mountain trail at Bogus Basin north of Boise Idaho. This is one of many uphill switchbacks on a recently added extension to the trail. It used to end at the top of the Morning Star lift but now the extension drops down some fun switchbacks then back up these before a final descent to Bogus Rd. The uphill is very gradual and scenic but I still hate climbs near the end of a ride!
