we are going to start one soon, and I'm not sure about the dimentions either. I'm thinking it will a design build thing. anyone build one where they actually planned it out?

 

Does anyone have dimensions on how far between bumps, turn radius, all the size info so it ends up right the first time? I want to build one and may have a spot soon to do it!!!

Quick question. How long would an alright sized pump track take to build? Winter's coming, so that means rain. I wouldnt mind having a pump track to mess around on.

i wish i had a place to make a pump track id prolyl even get that book since it seems like that guy knows something about them.

 

whne i started mine in my backyard, i started off by finding a flowy line around the yard, clearewd all that out to nice dirt. then started to dig out where i wanted pumps and bumps and what not untill i had what i was finally happy with. its decent and it took me an 2 other friends about 2 or 3 weekends. mind you it was kind of dry out too. some of those tracks l;ook fun as hell by the way

 

We started one near my house. Got in about 5 days of digging and then had to tear it down because of *****ing neighbors. Berms got to be about 3ft high.

This one is at a local bike park that I put a good amount of work into.

 

meager beginnings...

....just started yesterday afternoon and a few hours this morning.
It's kinda small because it's on a peice of our property we never go onto, so I figured I'd do something with all that dirt just laying there all flat and worthless.
