Can someone please help me with estimating my RPM range and my shifting casette brand and model? All I know is it's Shimano. Having problems with the bottom bracket and crankshaft.

Yep. 42 usually does the trick. If it doesn't work, try some WD-40 and all season tires. It works best with tubes and some slime sealant mixed in a bucket. Make sure you mix it well with an agitator, or an alligator. Either one will work.

What's your question on the shifting issue? You have to state the issue you're having in order for others to offer advice/help.

You can't request help without stating the issue. You just made a statement on the drive train. No question was asked.

your cadence depends on how fast you pedal. nobody on the internet can help you estimate that. you have to measure it with a cadence sensor, or estimate it. 60rpm is about 1 pedal stroke per second.

there is no such thing as a "shifting cassette". A "cassette" is a SPECIFIC type of rear gear cluster that slides onto a splined freehub body (there are a few different styles). Your bike likely has a freeWHEEL, which threads onto the hub shell. But that is only the gear cluster. It doesn't make anything shift. The parts that make the bike shift are the shifters (the parts you operate with your hands) and the derailleurs (the parts that translate that action through the pull or release of a cable into moving the chain from one cog to another).

Bicycles do not have a crankshaft. Crankshafts are parts found in internal combustion engines. Bicycles have cranks, which the pedals attach to, as well as the chainrings.

Ok - you are having problems with your bike. Watch some youtube videos about bike repair. Maybe even take your bike into a shop for another opinion. No matter what some people think, we can't use telepathy or psychic remote viewing to see what's happening with your bike. Photos and/or videos are necessary for us here.

The most efficient RPM range of your body is 60-80. The most powerful is 80-100.

Not sure why you are asking people who can't see you to estimate that.

Also you said you were "Having problems with the bottom bracket and crank" but didn't tell us what those problems are or ask any questions that have anything to do with them.

If you pull the bike apart you should be able to either take measurements or find part #'s to replace.

A better option might be to just replace the bike. For around $100-$150 you could find a better used bike. A bike that will be significantly better. Walmart bikes aren't really worth fixing because even when they're working 100% it's not really great or acceptable.

If you let us know where you live, and the height of who will be riding we can probably pull up some alternative options on craigslist.
