Fidlock with the largest bottle. Medium SB100 and SB130. Perfect fit and doesn't screw with the adjustment knobs when I insert or remove the bottle.

 

Good call, I bought the same for 2021 SB130 medium, largest bottle, fits just right, not too tight, and I like the extra capacity.

 

I have the good fortune of owning a SB55 which has the cage mount on the outside/underside of the downtube... bottles would go flying on rough trail until i grabbed a Specialized Zee Cage!! Holds a full 24oz bottle tight!!!!!

 

blackburn mountain cage, like is there any other choice ?

Fidlock large bottle on a XL frame. The same bottle is a bit "tight" on a small SB130 so the smaller bottle should work perfectly on that frame.

I went with the Enve as it seems very minimal in design and lightweight.

I use an Arundel Flip flop, fairly inexpensive, I enlarged mounting hole to move it down a smidge for more clearance of shock on a small SB140.

I love watching Worldwide Cyclery's videos and seeing that god awful metal and chrome bottle cage... I do love those guys, though...

Anyways, looking for a proper bottle cage and assume a side release style is what most use. Just wondering what some of the cool kids are using and what cool models are to consider.

The little known Elite Prism is the best side entry out there as far as I know, and I've tried a few! It beats the Specialized in my opinion (and has the added benefit on not being made by Specialized ).

LOL i know how you feel about the Specialized thing. That said i'm running a Specialized Zee cage with the SWAT tool on my SB140. In the end the functionality of always having the tool on my bike won out over preferring not to run the big S stuff.

 

I’m using the Syncros cage. Lighter than the Zee cage, available in left and right hand versions, cheap and strong. Never dropped a bottle yet. I’ve only been using it for a bit over a year though, when I got my SB130.
