I just installed a new SLX FC-M660 crankset and bottom bracket on a 68mm BB shell.

The instructions called for 2 spacers on the drive side and one on the non drive side. After installation I tried adjusting the front deraileur but could not get it to work properly using the limit screws.

If I adjust it so it shifts into the big chainring there is chain rub. so have it set to only shift in the middle and small ring and it works fine but not the way it should.

What adjustment am I missing? Should I remove one of the spacers on the drive side.

Thanks for the help

i'm having the same exact issue just on another model shimano crankset I just installed.(deore lx hollowtech 2)

If I remove the spacers will it not crush the plastic piece that goes through the bottom bracket? I also have the 68mm bb and am using 2 spacers on the ds and 1 on the nds it seems like I need to use no spacer on the ds because of the big gap... but according to the instructions it's supposed to have the 2 on ds and 1 nds with a 68mm bb.

thanks for any help :D
