I have Uvex helmets with bug screens in the front vents. I really like that option, been stung in the scalp a few too many times but never since I bought these lids. The fit and design is pretty good too. They're a few years old and I'd like to start looking for replacements but Uvex seems to have pulled out of the U.S. market. Any other brands offer bug protection? I suppose I could get Uvex from an overseas seller if nothing similar is available but that wouldn't be my first choice...

Kali Maya 2.0. I have one, super comfortable helmet. I have no real use for the bug screen but it has one.
Appreciate the tips. It's a shame this isn't a more common feature, I really find it to be useful.
I had 'em in my old old Troy Lee and they worked great, but now I always wear a cap under the helmet.
You can also just fit something in there as simple as gutter screen, or even that mesh stuff from the fabric store.
