Hey all,

As I wait for my factory version Float to come back from Fox for a full rebuild. I wonder how hard is it to do the rebuild myself next time.
I've done a couple air can rebuilds on my Rochshox Monarch and it wasn't bad at all. If this Fox shock is going to be susceptible to damper rebuilds because of the yoke design, I'm thinki g I need to learn.
There are a ton of youtube vids on air can help, but I can't find anything on damper help or serice/rebuilds.
Anybody have any links or ideas by any chance?

Thanks

Sid

Is it a current model or older? The procedure is much the same either way, and Fox has great instructions on their website. As to the shock being "susceptible" to damper rebuilds--ALL shocks need them at some point. It's maintenance.

While none of it is very complicated(for inline shocks), a great result requires a fair bit of care. You don't need that many special tools though.
