Fork crown mounting battery lights!

It seems like this is the system: battery powered lights have straps or clamps to go on the handlebars. Dynamo powered lights come with mounts to connect them to the fork crown or front rack.

I want to put a light on my fork crown of my commuter, but I don't want a dynamo hub. Doesn't anybody make a headlight with a fork crown mounting system?

I guess I could get a velogical dynamo just so that I could use a dynamo headlight but that's expensive.

The outside of GoPro splines are roughly 10mm...which is the same size as standard dynamo mounting. With a 3mm spacer inserted in the middle spline, a standard BuMM wire mount can clamp tightly enough to hold a normal light.

Ergo, finding a light that uses a GoPro mount, and an appropriately shaped mount from Busch und MĂĽller (there are quite a few different shapes for different applications) should get you done.
