Am I mistaken or is this down to $60 now? I'm tempted to just buy one even though I know it won't fit on my 120mm BB Heller Bloodhound. Good reason to buy that Ari frame I've been looking at though...

So because I like to torture myself I ordered the crankset.....THEN realized SRAM decided to be idiots and spec a 28.99mm crank spindle diameter. 1 MILLIMETER...ONE smaller then the somewhat standard 30mm. I also see the DUB bb tool is unique as well to SRAM DUB cranks!! Those guys at SRAM really are off their rocker. I cannot imagine being a bike mechanic these days.

SRAM did that in response to the mfrs that wouldnt budge on BB92 and the similar fatbike BB standard. These dont leave enough space for bearings and were intended for 24mm spindles, not 30. SRAM had no choice but to change spindle for these cranks since mfrs wouldnt make BB30 or BSA BBs. 24mm spindle is too small for carbon cranks. Whats worse is conpanies like Pivot that helped develop the BB92 standard and then turned around and speced RF next SL cranks w/30mm axle and bearings they knew would crap out fast.

Nothing warms my heart more than watching scammers/flippers selling these online for $300 and getting destroyed by others.

I did get one guy commit selling to me for $125 if he doesnt sell in 2 weeks. Do not know why I slept on buying this when available.

I bought a set of the XX1, 170mm fatbike cranks for $89 on that sale. I currently don't have a bike to use them in unless I change out the drivetrain on my personal bike, which I don't care to do. I am considering buying a Fezzari frame though and they would make a good match for it. Just waiting on an ARI/Fezz sale at this point.

I have the last gen trek farley with the press fit BB. I assume this bb will work with these cranks?

Also whats a good tool to knock out my race face PF bb that I have in there now for my turbine cranks?

Now that its cold out I guess I should do this, only had all summer to do it.
