Has anyone tried EPDM rubber pipe insulation vs the cheaper synthetic stuff? The cheaper stuff tends to flatten (reducing tire pressure during rides) and also crumbles causing debris to chafe the tube causing a flat. I know it's more expensive and adds weight but flats suck big time on an E Bike. Any help would be great ☺

Can't get new rim rim is special e bike wheel with motor hub installed. BTW this wheel weighs 26 lbs
