After 10 yrs on 3x8, upgraded my 2010 hard rock pro to 1x11 ( sram gx shifter and derailer, 32t raceface chain ring, 11 spd chain, nx 11 42t casette)

Feels like a new bike

 

Well I thought I was going crazy and going deep into a rabbit hole looking for answers. I was googling chain line measurements and ready to take everything apart. Turns out the rear hub (was new and just been swapped out for micro spline) had not been tighten properly and had play in it... About a 1/4". Tightened it up and so far so good.
