The biggest of Eurobike 2024 held last July was undoubtedly the DJI ebike motor and their newly created bike company, Amflow, to utilize this motor at launch. Known for drones, cameras, and tech equipment, DJI tasked their engineering team to build the next-generation ebike motor. And what they came up with, the DJI Avinox motor looks to be a step above currently available motors. It stands out in the following areas:
Released in Europe and with no authorized dealers and service centers in the US, we thought we would be unable to test this bike until late 2025. But we found a shop that freighted it into the US so we could get our hands on it and test it. So here is our unboxing, with many things we learned along the way. But please take note this is not an officially released bike in the USA yet.
We learned several things during this process, but here is a table of contents so you can skip around the video.
