I have read a lot of different users ask what the actual difference is between the three wheel sizes. Well they they usually ask "what are the pros and cons of a given size or which one is better? Which size is best is for each individual rider to decide. I have a 26" and a 29er and the type of riding I plan on doing determines which one is best for me.
Since there seems to be so many looking for what the differences are, below is the best article I've found that gives the most objective facts about the differences in the 3 wheel sizes. You won't find anything written about flick-ability or quick handling. I like to think the reason for this is because those things are very subjective and rider skill, frame and wheel design can make a bigger difference in those things than wheel size. This article simply uses math and physics to show the difference in wheel sizes not which is the best.
