Cracked the very end of my rear triangle tip by the dropout,is this safe to ride? A twig got stuck in the rear derailer and snapped the hanger and tip of the frame. The droppout looks good and no damage. The tip only holds a tiny screw for the hanger.

I stopped immediately when i heard the twig get stuck, but it was too late.

You will find changing gear difficult!.....

Yes you can ride it in single speed mode.
Thanks, that is what I thought too, i only road it for a few minutes with a new hanger and gear changing was perfect.

Do you/anyone know if the dropout has a strong base and will not have an issue. I do not want the dropout to just break at the wrong time.(Best guess, I know there is no real answer until something goes wrong)

it is not safe!

------------------------------

the next thing you do weird on that back wheel (off camber, rocks, strange body english...anything really)
the wheel may jam and stop the bike dead and send you to the ER

yeah it might ride OK for a while in straight lines, but any side loads on the wheel might further break dropout and cause a wreck

FYI, I am going to replace my frame to be safe. Thanks for everyone's help.

As the FSI has a small community and it is hard to find parts I am going to ebay any of my NEW spare parts, like hangers, under bb cable route and a few others. PM if you would like the ebay links.

If anyone want old parts from my 2018 fsi frame, please ask me.
