Well while Im down and out recovering from surgery Im scoping replacement parts for my converted Trek 4300 SS. Im concentrating on getting the driveline built nice and while looking at chains I see theres not a definite answer (kinda like most things with bikes!

So Im checking reviews to get a handle on this chain issue and I dont think theres a chain on there that has any god reviews.....What is everyone doing to these things???? It sounds like they need a multi-row timing chain off a small block Chebby with comments of them breaking 3-4 times on one ride, rusting to peices, ect.....
Yes Ive done a search and Im still undecided.....is there any updated information.....Anyone running the SRAM PC-1 with success.....what does the group say??? How about the colored chains?
