found this saddle; it says BROOKS CR3 on the vinyl cover; Made in England by Sturmey-Archer LTD on the steel frame; I looked on google for more information; seems they came with plastic frames...So I wonder if it is possible someone put a CR3 cover onto a steel Brooks frame?






I am not sure which frame this would fit best on... the Mountain Goat;


or the Cycle Pro Oswego;


what are you guys' thoughts on it? I know it is not as valuable or desirable as the leather Brooks saddles; however, I only paid $1 for it..

I kind of figured. so; Oswego? (fittingly; its a cheap bike frame)

as for the Goat which currently has a much later Specialized something that's falling apart...according to MOMBAT.org's article on the Trench Goat; they came with a Selle Italia Turbo with a Hite Rite post; looks like I've got to look for that particular combo.....
