Bike covers

Hey y'all. I'm looking for suggestion on an outdoor cover that would fit over two bikes that'll last more than 6 months.

I've tried a few in the $30 range and all had the same result wiring a year or not even. The sun just deteriorate them and then the wind does the rest. There's hundreds of them on Amazon, all with good and bad reviews (I personally bought two different ones over the last 1.5 year and they are both in shred already despite the good reviews).

I'm looking for something that's more like a thick bbq cover than the thin 240 nylon fabric all those covers are made of.

The bikes are on my bike rack on the back of the RV for the winter as I'm crossing the continent yet again in the spring and I'd like to have a proper cover that will also withstand the 6000km journey behind the big bus.

Ideally looking for something around the $50-$80 CAD that can be bought and delivered in BC, Canada, that fits over two 26" medium bikes.

Have you tried a generic motorcycle cover?

That's the first one I tried, from a big box store.

I'm trying to avoid going in the motorcycle shops at the moment, lots of touchy places in there.

Most covers I see for motorcycle aren't looking any better than the bikes one. There's a lot of hit and miss that's why I'm wondering if someone got a specific cover to recommend that they are satisfied with.

I'd agree with a cheap tarp and replace as needed. Maybe find a BBQ cover with the right dimensions?

When I stored my motorcycle outside, (wintered inside, summer outside), the sun would eat right through the covers. I'd buy a new one every year. Now that I have a garage, I've been on the same motorcycle cover for 6 years.
