I just received my new set of trinity brakes and am trying to decide which brand of rotor to use. I will be running 203f/180r with 6bolt hubs and want a rotor thicker than 1.8 but not thicker than 2.0. I want something within these parameters because I am a light rider and I want my braking system to generate enough heat to work properly and with larger and thicker rotors I’ve found that it’s too much power for my weight and the system doesn’t get hot enough and will squeal. I don’t want to use sram as I’m not a fan of their braking products. Cost isn’t a huge issue cause I work as a mechanic so I pay cost (Only good thing about being a bike mechanic professionally). I’m leaning galfer or magura but I wanted to see what others who have the trinity brakes have used.

I have 180/160 1.8mm Galfers on my hardtail. I am a lighter rider with twisty trails and not a lot of elevation. I find that with any organic pads, they heat up and cool off very quickly. In cold weather, sintered take a while to start biting.

I do have a problem with them not staying true though, especially the 180. Surprised I did not see that as a common complaint in reviews before I bought them.

I take it Intend don't sell their own rotors? Some brands are a bit more fussy about mixing rotors and calipers (Hayes), others couldn't care less (Hope), but I definitely think you need to get it right. I have some Formula rotors (think millions of small holes) and they were rubbish on every other caliper.

Intend makes both 2.05mm rotors and 2.3mm rotors. I actually emailed them a while back asking if they have a recommendation and I got a reply from Cornelius saying they don't. Also mention I used Trickstuff rotors with mine. His recommendation was Skinny (2.05mm) if you want lightweight, Massive (2.3mm) if you want... massive rotors ;) (Smiley his, not mine). But also said that others, including Trickstuff is just fine.
