I recently got a new Offering V2 and overall I am extremely happy with it. It is my do everything one bike quiver. As with any such bike, it does have its limitations. Specifically, I find it to be a bit under-gunned on big hits and super chunky terrain, and the Wrecker is just more bike that I want to deal with on a daily basis.

I plan to go for the negative angle set and extend the Lyrik to 160 in the front.

For the rear, I'm interested in switching the Super Deluxe for a coil (Probably 11/6) and Cascade linkage. I know the Push shocks are tuned, so I am wondering if using it with the Cascade linkage will defeat the point. I also wonder if the Cascade linkage would let me get away with something like an Avalanche tune or a cheaper coil shock.

Any feedback on what you did to beef up your Offering will be appreciated, as well as thoughts on the 11/6 and whether it is worth the money over other coils.

Thanks!

I ran my Offering with the cascade link, ext storia shock, 160 fork (mezzer) an -1 angleset. Was a good enduro-lite bike and rode great in all settings, though a little less poppy. I ended up selling it as I found it too long for me (reach on the L is 490+!) but it rode great. I would strongly advise against the 11.6 shock, Push strongly recommends against running it with a Cascade Link and won't tune it correctly for you. Either get an EXT (they will tune it to be run with the Cascade Link if requested) or a cheaper coil shock you can get custom tuned by someone else

There's lots of folks running the cascade link with the 11-6. Because of the change in progression just back off a bit on compression. My understanding is some end up on a slightly higher spring rate to get proper sag.

Push works directly with Evil so it's not surprising they don't support aftermarket parts attached to their shock.

I had conversations with Push, EXT, and Cascade Components. Ultimately, I just didn't want to spend that amount of money on something that I couldn't get tuned to match what I want/might want to do in the future. I ended up getting the Storia. On EXT's advice, I'll try it first with the stock link and if I still want a bit more, I can add the Cascade link. If the two aren't playing nicely together with either included spring, I'll send it back in for a complimentary tune. I'll update on how It turns out!

I built up an Offering V2 last year with an Elevensix and a 150 Lyrik with a Push ACS3 coil kit and HC97 damper upgrade. I've been very happy with this one and it's my only mountain bike. I'm coming off an OG Wreckoning which I felt was too much bike most of the time, but was a great bike for its intended purpose. The coiled out Offering does ride like a mini Wreckoning on the decents and it's a more playful ride than the Wreck. The Push components are plush off the top and effecient in it's travel use. I'm actually surprised at how lively the suspension feels. If you only have one bike, high end coil suspension on a mid travel bike is hard to beat, in my opinion.

Indeed. Now put on a Cascade Link and report back!
