I don't think it's yellow enough :)

I got the same bike in 2020 but I gutted a XTR and switched them out (essentially a yellow XTR). I went with a Onyx hub set up with Whiskey parts Carbon 50mm wheels in 27.5. I mounted on Teravail 3.0's I have to say. Best bike I have ever ridden. Enjoy that thing.

Nice!I haven’t been able to take it out yet, but itching to. How capable do you find it on rougher trails? I am downsizing from a 130/130 travel bike with slightly slacker geo, and I’ll be on AZ trails. I suppose I’ll find out soon enough, but curious.

I live in Florida so I am not going to be able to help you with Arizona trails. I find it more than capable. I have taken it to North Carolina and to more difficult trails and found it without compromise.

Finally got out on a maiden voyage today! Out of shape, haven’t ridden since early December… set like 7 PRs on Strava for the 15 mile trail. This thing is FAST (it’s not me)! Coming from a Rift Zone, the geo is a lot different but flat speed and climbing are soooooo much better. Not the plushest ride on the planet, but it will take a while to dial in. I noticed my rear wheel is getting thrown around a lot more than the Rifty, but, maybe to be expected. Just remembered that “playful” can sometimes mean “scary.” I’ll get used to it, but PSYCHED! Worried that I made a mistake downsizing my travel but that’s out the window. This will be good for PHX trails. Humongous rock chip in the rear triangle first time out. Ah, Phoenix…

Update. Tackled some black diamond trails in Browns Ranch in Scottsdale yesterday and put to bed any concerns that the travel would limit me. Took some rock faces and drops and while I was using most of my rear travel, I never had a harsh bottom out and had travel to spare up front. That’s going to be the extent of gnar I’ll be using this for. One concerning thing though is the amount of pedal strikes I’ve had. If I keep having those, I’ll try some 170 cranks. Flip chip in low setting. Got some fork decals from Slik cuz that was a LOT of yellow (this is the most important piece of info, of course).

I do and yes. There are 2 spearfish models coming out in 2025. There is the conventional spearfish models we all know and love and there will be 2 super high-end models for weigh weenies. As I get more info I will post it.
