Just joined the Yeti tribe.
My new to me '09 ASRc (with 2011 rear triangle). Sram X.0 red, RS Sid Team & Monarch 4.2, Truvativ Noir carbon crank, Fulcrum Red Metal 3 wheels, Hope headset, Raceface Next carbon bar.

I think I'm going to like this bike. Took it for its first ride yesterday and I still have a smile on my face. :)

I finally got around to putting this one together. Ready for the White-Rim-In-a-Day!

I have to weigh it but it's approaching 25 lbs.

A key feature for me is going to grip shift. Something is wrong with my right thumb and after a few hours, I can't seem to push triggers anymore..

Beautiful frame, is that the last of "Made in USA" frame. How do you like the carbon wheels?
I think that was the last batch of the Golden make frames.

So far the wheels are sweet; solid feel and no 'drum' sound on the rough! Gosh and did I mention they are light? :D...and they look great!

I have those tires at 60 psi so I hope the wheels can take that long term.

This is my first venture into carbon wheels. I have been known to pinch flat and I would think it might be the kiss of death on these wheels.

ASR-C guys, asking for some help on setup here.

1. Headset would be external cup 34/28.6 34/30?
2. Is bike fine with Shimano XTR 2x10 40x28, or is there any interference. I know they ship them with 38x26, I'm wondering if works fine with the narrower Q-factor, bigger ringed model.
3. Front derailleur would be M-986 for Shimano? Website says 35mm, but Shimano shows comptible up to 34.9mm, effectively the same?
4. and it is a BB-92 Pressfit BB, right?

My reward for answers will be sweet build pics!

Just picked up 2001 ASR Comp frame online and it's on it way!!! I'll be stripping all of my new/good parts from my Gary Fisher Joshua Y because YETI!!!! Once I get her built up and ride ready I'll post up some pics. The Joshua will have to live with left overs, she was good to me, but YETI!!!
