We have two All City cycles in our household. The both get ridden very regularly. They are a great durable bike. Really sad that they are axing the brand. We have more steel frames in our collect than aluminum or carbon.

Seriously, I would be tempted to snatch up one of their cross/gravel frames, like the Nature Boy 853, Nature Cross, or the Super Professional, for a winter project bike.

Yeah I plan to get a decent gravel bike with carbon frame so staying patient is key I guess.

Ouch! As a single speeder, that hurts and this right after also losing Gunnar/Waterford. AC made some great single speeds. Still have a two Log Lady builds. Here's one of them:

Didn't Gunnar/Waterford build bikes for All City at one point? When I first heard this news, I thought maybe they still build bikes for All City and that was why they were closing.

I doubt it, guessing that a lot of the mainstream brands that did still have a steel offering will become less and less.

BikesDirect used to sell a lot of good quality steel bikes made with Reynolds tubing at very good prices, but those have quietly disapeared over the past few years too.

It would definitely be nice to see them still offer these bikes. The steel fat bike, hybrid, and road bikes (possibly) disappeared, but they also brought back the 520 and 853 gravel bikes this year. BD titanium options also dried up, which I am curious connecting that to AC is if the Cosmic Stallion Ti will ever go on deep discount.
