Just a quick pass along of knowledge.... There are 2 versions of the 29 plus wheel. Apparently they were having issues with people running lower pressures and denting the Version 1 Hugo. The version 2 is 1mm wider and has material added in certain areas. Old version was 51 mm and new version added about a mm to width of rim.

Mayor,
Everything you have ever commented on about any of my posts has been negative. I don't give a rats azz if you have 200,000 posts and own MTBR. It's time you stop creeping my threads.

You say you're a dealer....and post up months old news about a rim?
I never noticed I posted on another of your threads until you brought it up.....you know...the one where you didn't know what color to buy.
Hugs and kisses

I don't have to say I'm a dealer. The Borealis dealer list speaks for itself. Do you have all these posts because you have so much free time or because it's the only friends you "think" you have? Why you started the negativity with me was without merit. I'd like to end this just as soon as it began. Just realize you're barking up the wrong tree over here. And, you were the first to bark.

A forum is intended to help someone in need of info. Maybe my thread about the Difference in versions would have been a better hit for a search engine, you never know. Maybe it would help someone which was what I was interested in originally because I was also on search of this info before I called Stans this morning. I had no clue it had been covered already which I see now. It is Christmas time. Maybe a bigger heart or different wording would have been more appropriate than all the negativity

I don't but I do see a heavily discounted version 1 still available at HawleyUSA distributors. You too can go on the site and look at what they have, you just won't be able to see pricing. HawleyUSA.com

I had a set of the first gen ones on my ROS9 plus... First ride out with I struck a root and bent the rim... I called Stans and the customer service/tech Guy and I had an in depth convo about how they don't even really recommend the use of the Hugo on a 3 inch tire... It squares the side walls off too much and that can lead to the problem that I had... He offered to sell me the up dated version at a reduced cost but seeing how I'd be going against their recommendations I opted to have a set of wheels built at my LBS with I9/WTB stuff
