27.5+ slick tires

Any recommendations for slick tires? I have a Marin Pine Mountain that has 27.5 x 2.8 tires on 38mm internal rims. All I have really come up with is the Vee Speedster in 27.5 x 3.00. Not sure how narrow a tire I can go with that rim size.

Anyone have other suggestions besides the Speedster in 27.5x.00?

I'm looking for a similar tyre, I'm really keen to get a 27.5+ bike as I'm getting back into biking after a LONG hiatus. I used to do a lot of dirt jumps, 4x and looning around, and I'm hoping to pickup a steel hardtail 27.5+ bike so things are a bit more grown up but aren't too unfamiliar.
To start with, most of my miles will be my commute on road/pavement, so I'm hoping that I can find a semi-slick solution that works well, I assume at a higher pressure than the usual ones for offroad on a plus bike.

The best option I've found are the G-One Allround 27.5 x 2.8 too, but would love to hear someone's experience with slicks on a 27.5+ before I commit...

You guys came up with the 3 options that I'm aware of. I have no experience with the Vee Speedster, but some people on the Fatbike forum run them. The G-One allround is a very lightweight tire for it's size, with pretty thin sidewalls. Probably fine for light duty commuting or just riding around, but I'd think it's to delicate for heavy duty commuting on bad roads or 'urban mountain biking'! The Super Moto X is a burlier tire then the G-One, but not as good for offroad due to the tread pattern, or lack thereof.

Incidentally, I have a pair of the Schwalbe Super Moto X 27.5x2.8 that I was getting ready to list for sale. They were mounted, and have some sealant residue, but never ridden. If either of you is interested in them, let me know.

i'm really new to forums so sorry if i screw up, but in response to "castletonia" the only city/slick/urban tread type 27.5 650b wide-ish tires i have found have been by schwalbe, and those would be the SUPER MOTO-X HS 439 has a 27.5 x 2.8 or the G-ONE ALLROUND also has a 27.5 x 2.8 size, again both by SCHWALBE. And i had hard time finding the schwalbe's. I am currently doing some gentle urban/city mountain biking on a 29er using 2.2''-ish wide "WTB" thickslicks or WTB slick 2.2. But i was hoping to buy a $500 Specialized Pitch this summer and rod around town on some 27.5 x 3" slicks type tires but we'll see.
