It is my understanding that no. I run 203 front and 180 rear, all the breaking power you will ever need!Anybody running a 203 rotor on the rear. Enough room back there? Looks really close to me.

Maybe. That's what I run now. I've ran them out twice. Riding over my head and on a place I shouldn't of been but sometimes that just happens when you don't know where your going on some place new. In any case more of fact finding mission. I knew it looked pretty iffy.It is my understanding that no. I run 203 front and 180 rear, all the breaking power you will ever need!

Oh I was praying for a Slash that day. I think there were 5 of us. 4 on trail bikes and one on a proper enduro. He was the only one that didn't break anything that day. 95% of my riding I could do on a XC bike just fine. 99.5% is fine on my Fuel. Just run into that .5% every now and again.Maybe you should consider a Slash! [emoji6]
Better yet just grab a Rail, basically a Slash with assist! Mine should be here on Thursday, self shuttles the main reason fo purchase, also for recovery days and trail work with a trailer!!?Oh I was praying for a Slash that day. I would like the answer to this too. Really tempted by the 2.6 EXO+ RekonSaw a post saying 2.5" max width. Anyone tempt fate and running 2.6?
Its regular thread, here's a picture of it straight from Treks dealer site:Trying to undo the main pivot bolt on my Fuel EX 8 2019, for greasing and cleaning. But it is really tight, tried with 6mm allen keys from both sides. Is it left-hand threaded? The bolt spins easily, but I can't get the bolt loose. Didn't use that much force though as I was afraid doing anything wrong.
Any ideas?
It's likely seized to the inner race of one or both of the pivot bearings in the frame. You should be able to tap it loose. Note that it exits the drive side.Trying to undo the main pivot bolt on my Fuel EX 8 2019, for greasing and cleaning. But it is really tight, tried with 6mm allen keys from both sides. If I am remembering right all the frames an rear triangles were the same. Just component changes I believe.Hey, does anyone know off the top of your head if there are any significant frame differences between the 2018 and 2019 Trek Fuel EXs? Were any improvements made?
Agreed. This bike is very fast, but not so quick off the jump. A bigger spacer will definitely perk up the pedaling performance, and it's a 10 minute experiment. Go for it, and report back.I love my bike for general riding and it's great in all day type epics but when it's time to put the power down and hammer that thing is a marshmallow. I've played with 15-35% sags, haven't played with spacers. Once it finally wakes up and settles in it pedals. Those first 3/4 strokes though are brutal. Suggestions?
