Got a 2014 Fox talas 34 on the way on my new bike. The 2013 34 I had was underwhelming, I just rode it in trail everywhere due to the well documented problems. I tried a 2014 a few weeks back and there was a definite improvement in the 3 settings but I am toying with just having the new Push ind compression assembly fitted so I can have high and low speed compression damping adjustment and set it to what I want.

What are other peoples opinions? Give the 2014 Fox a chance or just Push it from the get go?

I would ride the 2014 as is and maybe when its time for a rebuild/major service you can send it to push if you think it needs it. This way you know how it runs stock and how it was improved with Push.
I had a 2013 ctd and now have around 10 rides on a 2014 fox ctd. The 2014 is a noticeable improvement over the 2013. No more brake diving and good fast speed chatter performance. I had planned to push the 2014 if needed, but I think its good enough as is.
