My local Trek store just received there first shipment of Cdale bikes. I'm stoked because there are not many dealers that carry the high end models in north San Diego county.

According to the dealer I spoke too, all trek stores are now cannondale dealers.
There are 4 Trek stores in San Diego.
It's cool to get more cdale dealers, but I hope it's not a merger. Trek is not to great at keeping cool tech going like the Lefty.

I checked with my local trek dealer and they have heard nothing about this. If the op would post up more info maybe it could clear things up.
I went to the Cannondale website. I entered my zip to locate a dealer and all the local Trek stores are listed. So I called the store in San Marcos

He told me they started to get their first shippment of bikes that day and they would have the full line of high end mountian and road bikes. I was shocked myself. But go to the Cannondale dealer locator for your self and see. THIS IS NO BS!!!!!!

Maybe it is just certain dealers, mine does not come up. My dealer is strictly a Trek dealer, nothing else in the store.

Unless your LBS is a Trek superstore they can carry any bike brand they want. My LBS has both Trek and Cannondale but both are still independent brands of each other. Trek is Trek, Cannondale is Dorel.

I work with both the trek rep and cdale rep in my area since my LBS stocks both brands but separately under two different accounts. They did not merge. Although I will say that I am betting Trek is in the mood to buy out a company with some solid technology. Give it less than three years imo.

Maybe the OP was just overly excited about his Trek dealer getting CDales .
Maybe just a simple fact that his store has now taken on the CDale line .
One shop selling multiple brands ...... no merger .
Multi line shops are nothing new nor worth starting a thread about IMO .
