seriously need to wait EX until October? was it like that last year too? when some other models have been shipped already?
FWIW, last year, the 2012 EX was out in August.
The video explaining the new Fuel (with the Trek rep) also said they would start to be available in August... so they should be floating in at some point soon.

Do the Fox 34 160mm forks have a shorter axle to crown than the 36 160mm? I thought they did, which is why I'm surprised Trek put them on the Slash's since that would effectively lower the bb and steepen the head angle, something the mino-link was already supposed to do within the designed range.

First off. I went with 15.5" as my Local Dealer suggested they are made big. He wasn't kidding. The thing looks as big as my 19.5" 4900, and even longer. Strongly recommended to go to a small frame with these 29ers.
Sizing is a personal preference, but for a a typical 5'10" person with proportional inseam and arm lengths, the recommended size would be the medium 17.5". I'm 5'10" and ride a 19" 2012 AL Elite, it feels great if not a little large, but perfectly comfortable on long rides. I've tried the 17.5 and that feels good too, but I think I prefer the 19, although I'm used to it now. It depends on whether you prefer to be more upright or more stretched out in your riding stance.

Looks good aside from the colors of the bikes. Liking the setup of the SF100 Elite but without the yellow or Zombie green or whatever. Can anyone attest to how easy the decals come off of the carbon frames or they sealed on?
