I guess not. I ordered a black one, then found out it was going to be at least 4 more weeks before I would be riding it. I went with raw instead and was riding 2 days later. Also don't have to worry about the paint chipping or scratching.

Well I really want my next bike to be white so I can put blue anodized bits on it. I really like that color combo. Blue bike with white ano, would be a no go for me. I'm not a fan of anything red that provides locomotion. So a red bike is completely out of the question for me. Also I'd rather not get a black bike because it seems most people, at least around here have black bikes.

Color doesn't usually matter to me since in the past there isn't an option that floats my boat or custom ordering took too long. Kinda same scenario on my current bike. Only two color option available, so i chose the green, and i actually really like it.

Colors add to the swerve factor of my bikes I think.I'm currently working on an all white rigid 29er for example.I call it my "All Saints" bike. It's a Zion 737...with golden accents.
As the implies, it has spiritual reference. At least to me it does. Thus the "All Saints" implication came to mind.
I like it.
It's OK.
:)
You just gotta build it up with all Deity parts. That would be bad ass .
My own bike is just silver and black, simple and it goes with everything. Plus it's the only one in town. :D Currently in commuter mode.

Have the same frame sitting in my attic! There's a few more Motos in this area...

But that ain't considered silver...its raw.

I know it looks a little much, but they are real comfortable and help with some minor wrist pain I had. I just needed to be able to change hand positions a bit when doing my commute to/from work (@15 mi each way). They come off when on the trails though.

Looks alright to me. Though I totally understood what you mean't when i looked at it (the red bike).... It kinda looks naked that way. I had to like, adjust my self a little to like it.
By "quite right" I guess I only meant that 99% of the spesh's I see are that scheme in some order. I actually kinda like how simple pcmark's bike looks in that color.

Last bike I had with color was my Klein rascal circa 92...

Candy red. Awesome paint jobs from Klein back then. Every other bike had Polished frames. Color usually doesn't affect my choices. I can always repaint something I don't like :)

My Steelman Cross is a beautiful powder coated baby-blue. I had one the exact same color about 15 years ago and selling that bike was a huge regret. When I saw this frame - in the same color and size as my old one - on e-bay a few years ago, I knew I was fated to have it!

And my Colnago Master Light is candy-apple red with carbon stays and fork. A thing beauty again inspired from the first Italian racing bikes I was in love with as a youth (not the carbon, but the Colnagos and their outrageous paint schemes).

I work with color all day at my job so yes color is important to me. Some I just wouldn't buy like black, white, or bright yellow or orange.. I like metallic colors best. I'm hoping to buy a Blur pretty soon and thinking of doing the custom color program, but not sure I want to wait.
