Unfortunately last ride was the one where I taco'ed my front Lefty wheel. :(

I the wheel is rebuilt, but I had trouble mounting the tire. I got a way late start on my last attempt, and with kids being insane and wife being busy, I bagged on it.

So, my last ride was riding the singlespeed to the mini-mart store to get some soy milk, orange juice and a pound of that tasty Yemeni coffee they import themselves.

Gonna hit Fort Ord as my first ride of 2012, tho!

TahoeBC - How did you break that? Looks like the rocker pushed forward or something
I'm guessing just 4 1/2 years of hard riding, I typically do not get much more than that out of a frame.

JMac47, out of warranty, last Ellsworth I broke they took care of me though, but who knows in these times, Frankly I would be happy with a frame at cost. If not it's time to go bike shopping :D

Last ride of the year was a road ride as I didn't have time to get out to the dirt...

Last dirt ride on the 30th at Annadel. Rode with a big group, so a lot of breaks and waiting, but this place is really awesome. Drove 2.5 hours each way to do this ride and it was definitely worth. Thanks to Garret who showed us around some of the highlights of the park

Rounded out the year with some killer singletrack. This isn't me riding, I let a buddy borrow the gopro and shred off ahead.

Wish youtube would let me upload some pirated tracks, it was better laced to a dubstep track

Ridge Trail, near Pinecrest!

My daughter just started riding in 2011 so it was nice to get this ride in with her!

Yeah, she still needs to build her confidence on the (technical) upper portion but I was proud of her! :D

Great last ride of the year: made some new friends and got a tour of the UCSC system, loved every inch of it.
And because I had managed to make it through the year without any injuries, despite a couple of hard crashes, I decided to fall and break my collarbone 2 miles from the car on an embarrassingly easy section of trail. It's not bad as clavicle fractures go, and at least it came at the end of 3 weeks of beautiful riding :)
Bring it, 2012!

My final ride was a CX loop starting from downtown Morgan Hill up into Henry Coe with Diesel. A ride I've dreamed off for a while.

Diesel added a super-fun route through Harvey Bear to cap off 2011 in style!

If you've got a CX bike and love Coe, you've got to do this ride with us when we repeat it...
