Sorry if this has been talked about alot, but my searches didn't really return anything and there are no stickies either.

I need to put a longer line on my Marta and I don't have enough compression olives or the little barbs either.

Is there are good place/way to get these without having to buy a whole new Bleed/Service kit?

Or,

Is there a way I can reuse the ones I have? Can I salvage them off of another line by cutting them out or something?

Thanks.

Also I need like a 70" line, best buy?

Maguradirect.com has a Webstore that you can buy anything you need for Magura.
You can also use any IBD and ask them to order what you need from BTI.
You can not re-use the olive but if you cut the brass high pressure insert carefully, then that can be reused.
Most olives are very similar size but I cannot guarantee anyone else's proper function.
70" of line is not problem.
618-395-2200 and ask for Matt or Justin.

cool. Thanks for the info.

I wouldn't recommend using anyone else's hydraulic line aside from ours. You should always stick with the Original Equipment when replacing lines , pads or rotors!
We have no idea how this line performs under stress or how it effect the physics of the original parameters with inside diameters of the hydro line and how that overall effect braking and heat performance.

www.Maguradirect.com and look at the web store for original replacement parts.

Thanks for riding Marta!

thanks again for the update. I'm going to make a call in today probably.

The direct store only has pads, no lines, olives, etc.. Just a heads up for Magura. This has been part of the problem: readily available access to the stuff I need.

Also, can the caliper be "opened'? My rear is having major issues that I can't remedy seem to remedy from the typical procedures (unsticking a piston, etc..)
It looks like the side of the caliper is a giant torx bolt, is that for looks, or can the caliper be opened there?

Stay away from opening the caliper because there is NO reason to do so.
+1 on this. I needed an adapter that was not listed on the site. I called and they were able to hook me up no problems.

yeah I'm hoping to give them a call on my lunch break today.

My pistons are moving together, they won't retract at the same time. (I manually retract one and the other extends, and vice-versa) Thoughts?

I tried the "unstick a stuck caliper/piston" method from the Magura site, as well as just cleaning the diaphragms thoroughly, but no luck. I was also getting bubbles, no matter how much fluid I ran through the system. (like a quart!)

I can't speak for Matt or Justin but the guy "Corey" they currently have working for them is...I'm trying to be nice here. I would recommend ordering from anywhere other than maguraderelict until they get their ordering process sorted out.

This is a good post

Getting the right part instead of junking my old marta's is great because I like keeping everything bolted on IS. I called in to Magura on line and dealt with Corey, no issues at all. Good service.
