What category would you put the following rider in:
-Likes technical trails, but not "technical" simply because it is steep. Likes rock problems, tight turns with steps. Likes to go up as well as down.
-Doesn't ware lycra.
-But doesn't really fit in with the downhill crowd either -- doesn't warrent a full-face helmet (most of the time) or a body-armour suit.
-Likes a little air from time to time, but riding isn't just big air.
I'm not sure where this fits. It isn't really downhill. It isn't XC (for sure). But if freeride is mostly 10 foot drops, 20 foot gaps, and spending most of your time in the hospital, it probably isn't free-ride either. Is it "hucking?" Seems like the Northshore toys are the most apealling...but maybe just on a smaller scale.
Any thoughts? I mean, if you don't know which category you fit into...how do you know which shirt to buy?
