I haven't posted on here for a while, so I am pretty much still new. Now in all honesty, we are not looking for a GREAT bike, because we do not have more than $300 to spend, my husband noticed a Jeep Mountain bike for sale on Craigslist for $125. I am trying to find reviews on it but can't hardly find ****. Any opinions on this bike?

They are typically quite heavy, with low quality components.

Any "mountain bike" you pay $125 for will not last a long time if you plan to do a lot of trail riding with it.

Simply put, you get what you pay for.

There is nothing especially good or bad about "Jeep" bicycles. They are the same quality level as most other bicycles sold in department stores. Jeep is just a sticker. Jeep makes automobiles, not bikes.

Well my husband isn't getting it, but my step son is, he won't listen. He just wants a bike and says he'll repair any damage, my husband has a Mongoose Deception, but he doesn't care for it and we might get a different one.

Basically any bike with a car brand label slapped on it is junk.ANY brand car.
Not entirely true...but mostly true. There have been and still are some very high quality bicycles with car brands on them. Even Jeep has some relabeled Christini 2WD bicycles at one time.

In general, bikes branded with car company names are pretty bad. Even some of the luxury car makers have some crappy bikes with their names on it. There are some exceptions such as the AWD Jeep bike that some have mentioned. Usually you can find plenty of decent brand name hardtails on CL for under $300, so I would keep looking if I were you.
