Rolling at 8/8:30am for 20-30miles (4-6hrs) including Heartbreak. Route to HB will either be OTR or CCR depending on my mood on Friday.

I might be down for a Friday ride, but I'd vote for an OTR route. Gravel just seems to suck all the soul out of me.bd279 said:

1 park at Kitsuma lot ride from there
2 do a shuttle which would involve leaving one car at the geyser and taking the other up to the college
Option 1 means riding through town several miles and ending with a climb out from the geyser area which is not too bad if we can carry enough water for the whole loop or carry a filter.

I usually ride from the Geyser, hit OTR via Mill Creek Rd., Ridgecrest,then you finish with a big downhill for 20 miles. Optionally, I would refill water at the car then drive down to the picnic area and hit Kitsuma via Old 70 for another 10.
