I have been demoing alot of 29ers lately and really enjoy the ride. If/When Ibis comes out with one what would you like to see?

Here are my suggestions.

5" Full Suspension with geometry designed around a 130mm fork.
6lb frame weight
Tabs for a command post
Tapered Head Angle
142mm x 12mm Rear
69.5 Head Angle
Integrated BB for shorter chainstays.

I just it don't think it make financial sense to make a carbon DH bike right now. I have a feeling it is in the works, but a 29er will be like the HD. It will be backordered and sell out when it is announced which is great for Ibis.

I know for a fact a 29er is coming but I have no clue what it will look like.

To say you know for a fact is a pretty bold statement. Do you work for Ibis or have a strong connection? Personally, I am with you. I want Ibis to build an XC 29" that I can race with. Something that will line up well against the Spec. Epic.

Actually it is a fact. I spoke with the guys at Ibis during there demo and they said they are working on a 29er, although they don't have a release date, plus Hans has stated on this forum that a 29er is in progress.

I'd rather see a true DH race bike! Take more of the learnings from the HD apply it to what DW knows from the Iron Horse Sunday and produce a killer DH bike with the Ibis touch!
+1
bike parts and shuttling is getting more and more popular these days and the HD isn't really the answer.

Can I get on the waiting list.....Was going to get a Tallboy but I'm waiting on the MOJO 29er SL.....A build around 25lbs would be awesome....Need a pic to get through the winter...come on IBIS a little bike porn!!!!

4" full squish, lockout on the rear

After riding a few I've been sorely tempted to sell my Mojo Sl for a SuperFly 100. However the GF continues to have problems with frame cracking and the SL is much better on the descents.
So if I were placing an order it would be for 4+ travel in the rear with full lock out (old RPL), matching front suspension, same geometry (or a steeper HA with more rake) as the Mojo. I know there are a lot of hard tail fans but the versitility of full squish would make this a great distance/endurance racing bike.

re. Mojo 29er, What would you like to see?

HD inspired limbo chip compatible frame for a 100mm travel race setup, or a 120-130mm all mountain setup. 18" max chainstay length....shorter would be even better if possible. Of course, tapered steerer and rear thru-axle is a given. Clearance for Nev 2.35's and WTB 2.5's.

+1 .... and FUN to ride down, up, over and around.
